Tastings is a series of installations created by casting architectural fragments of selected sites and presenting them in the form of edible replicas. These tastings invite us to investigate our built environment, its architecture and history, through the sense of taste and the act of digestion rather than cognitive processes.  Three iterations of this work have been presented up to date: Tasting (Museo Nacional de Arte Moderno "Carlos Mérida"), 2024; Tasting of Sephardic Architecture, 2015; and  Tasting of Colonial Architecture, 2014.​

 

Degustaciones es una serie de instalaciones realizadas mediante la creación de moldes de fragmentos arquitectónicos de sitios seleccionados, y su presentación en forma de réplicas comestibles. Estas degustaciones nos nos invitan a investigar nuestro entorno construido, su arquitectura e historia, a través del sentido del gusto y el acto de digerir en lugar de procesos cognitivos. Hasta la fecha, se han presentado tres versiones de esta serie: Degustación (Museo Nacional de Arte Moderno "Carlos Mérida"), 2024; Degustación de Arquitectura Sefardí, 2015; y Degustación de Arquitectura Colonial, 2014.
